Mini-Pac

The future of the Mini Pac is in jeopardy after a crime spree by a group of employees. Court documents say that for more than a month, three women working at the store stole scratch off lottery tickets and kept the winnings. The Schauers estimate they may be out as much as $50,000 because of the crime–insurance only covered $10,000 — this is truly a travesty.

The Mini Pac may be forced to close. The Schauers and their 3 children may lose their home. A few of us from the neighborhood set up this site to aid them in their fundraising efforts. Please click the green button to the left to make a donation.

Scroll down for videos on the story from WCCO and KSTP as well as written articles from the East Side Review News, KQRS, WCCO and KSTP, and thank you very much for your support.

He and wife Michelle took the plunge and bought the mini-mart at 1184 Maryland Ave. two years ago, christening it the Mini-Pac and pinning their hopes and careers on the small business venture.
